2. Personal data and earmarking
The subject of data protection is personal data (Art. 4 No. 2 GDPR). These are individual details about personal or factual circumstances that you provide to us as part of the application process, such as:
⁃ Personal master data (e.g. applicant name, address, date of birth)
⁃ Communication data (e.g. telephone, email)
⁃ Data from the applicant's résumé (e.g. career, secondary employment, leisure activities, certificates)
⁃ Results of selection processes (e.g. tests, interviews)
⁃ Process data (e.g. status, dates)
Your personal data will only be electronically saved and used for the purpose of processing your application.
Data storage, retention and deletion of data
If you are hired, we will save the application documents in your personnel file.
The general statutory retention and deletion periods apply. We delete your data in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions after the respective vacancy process has been completed. Access and use of your personal data by our company is then no longer possible.
Data transfer to third countries
There is no data transfer to third countries.
3. Legal basis
The processing of your personal data is in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. GDPR lawful, as we received the data as part of the application process as a pre-contractual procedure.
4. Processing and forwarding of personal data
All data communicated in the course of the application will be processed and used by Zauberzeug GmbH to carry out the application. In the case of applications, only employees in the HR department and the relevant department will have access to your personal data during the application process.
5. Right of access and rectification, right of withdrawal
You have the right to update the personal data you have provided at any time by notifying the recipient or to request deletion. However, we reserve the right to store a limited number of your data for a limited period of up to five months in order to be able to comply with statutory provisions, in particular obligations to provide evidence under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
Data protection and data security have top priority for us. We therefore use various technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized third parties.
